Taking the famous elegant and floral Bruichladdich house style, The Laddie Fifteen is an exploration in maturation and cask influence. Beautifully showcasing the passing of time, maturing in the Atlantic air of our Islay warehouses, we have pursued flavour using a precise selection of French Oak ex-wine casks and sherry, including Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez.

Fifteen years on the Hebridean Isle of Islay is a significant passage of time.Our elegant, floral, and citrus unpeated spirit matures on our island home in a specially selected combination of oak casks. The Laddie Fifteen isn’t a departure from the Bruichladdich house style but an exploration of cask and flavour.
Those fifteen years have further shaped this Bruichladdich spirit. The influence of a diverse cask maturation from bourbon to French oak ex-wine, and a selection of sherry casks including Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Amontillado has woven in layers of warming spice, rich fruit, and a truly satisfying depth.
The Laddie Fifteen has been conceived, distilled, matured, and bottled right here on Islay, using 100% Scottish barley.

Despite the small number of raw ingredients in Scotch whisky, only a handful of producers will share their origins. Being transparent about what’s in your glass is still a surprisingly radical approach, but you have the right to know what’s in your bottle. We argue that flavour is derived from the whisky making process and ALL of the ingredients. The age of the spirit and the type of casks used are not the only signifiers of quality. A whisky like this should be considered in its entirety.

Our Bruichladdich whisky range is unpeated, floral and complex. Trickle distilled from 100% Scottish barley using much of the original Victorian machinery, the methods employed by our craftsmen have continued unchanged. This is natural whisky, non-chill filtered and colouring free.
