The Bottling Hall

We were the first distillery to bottle all our whisky here on Islay, joined in 2011 by Kilchoman. We use local spring water from nearby Octomore Farm to reduce the whisky from cask strength to bottling strength, bottling at the higher strength of 50% to ensure clarity - below this, whisky sometimes suffers from clouding unless chill-filtered. Bruichladdich single malt is never chill-filtered, nor enhanced with colouring.
