Three Great Bands for Feis Ile 2017

We have an amazing line up of music for visitors to Bruichladdich Day on Sunday 28th May 2017.

We are delighted to be welcoming back The Blueswater again this year.  These guys simply blew us away in 2016 with their old-school rhythm and blues sound led by the incomparable Felipe Schrieberg.  Noisy, raw and grittily unstoppable, last year’s grooves were delivered by a stripped down three piece, but this year the whole band will be layin’ it down. Oh yes…

West Highland and island band ‘Tide Lines’ made quite a splash when they burst onto the Scottish trad scene in 2016 with an eclectic sound driven by acoustic and electric guitars as well as drums and keyboards.  Led by vocalist Robert Robertson from Lochaber, their first single ‘Far Side of the World’ was a big success in the UK download charts when it was launced on social media.

The legendary Salsa Celtica were described in The Scotsman as “One of the most exciting acts on the world music concert circuit today”.  Band member Toby Shippey played Laddieday with the ‘Whisky Riverboat Band’ last year and had such a good time that he has persuaded Salsa Celtica to put together the Salsa Celtica Celtic Band for our 2017 event.  How cool is that?  They will have some special guests with them and say that they will be leaning slightly towards their more Celtic influenced tunes for the occasion. Sounds brilliant…

Times will be flexible.  Bring your dancing shoes…
