“The Only Whisky Show”, hosted by WhiskyBrother, is the newest whisky festival in South Africa. Whisky enthusiasts are invited to try infamous whiskies, as well as share their passion and engage with fellow fans. The festival looks to teach about the history, people, places and flavours that are involved in the creation of Scotland’s national drink.
Amongst a large range of single malts available to taste, The Classic Laddie, Port Charlotte Scottish Barley and Octomore 7.1 will be on show. For a lucky few, there’ll be a glimmer of Black Art 4.1 and the first of the ‘2nd edition tens’ in ZA.
Tickets for the unlimited supply of drams are R450, these can be purchased here. The ticket price includes extras such as a branded Glencairn glass, R50 off any whisky retail purchase over R300, R10 off the purchase of food and two bottles of water.
There will additionally be a limited stock of special whiskies being termed “Copper Coupon Drams” – each attendee will receive 3 copper coupons which they can then exchange for any 3 Copper Coupon Drams they would like to try, with additional coupons available for purchase at the show.
