Bruichladdich Day Feis Ile 2016 #Laddievision

The programme and backdrop is taking shape for Bruichladdich Day Feis Ile 2016, on Sunday May 22nd, ‘The Lasting Power Of Vision’.

Whisky Masterclass

Adam Hannett and Allan Logan will present the six drams that they have created for their Masterclass at 11am. This event is sold out.  We ask that ticketholders please arrive at Warehouse 12 in plenty of time.

The doors will open at the distillery at 12.30.

Feis Ile 2016 2016 – Islay Festival

There will be three unique bottlings available to buy on the day.  Adam Hannett has created a vatting from casks distilled back in 2001, the momentous year when Bruichladdich reopened after six silent years. He has also chosen two uber-provenance casks that were filled with spirit distilled from barley grown on single Islay farms, Starchmill and Dunlossit.

A new idea for Laddieday will be our “Wild Flavours Tent” dedicated to the concept of foraged flavours and their connection to The Botanist, our first and only Islay Dry Gin. We hope to bring foraged flavour fans live coverage from the tent at around 13:30.

We will be pushing the limits of our internet connection with a live broadcast of two short segments from the Masterclass through our YouTube channel. There will also be bursts on ‘Periscope’ to give Laddiefans around the world the opportunity to join us on the day. We’ll also have a #Laddievision photo competition on social media, with our inimitable and arbitrary prizes. Find the broadcasts and the posts from the wider Laddie community by searching the internet for #Laddievision.

See you there, in the real world or on-line.
