#LaddieMP7: Bruichladdich Islay Barley

UPDATE: All #LaddieMP7 kits are now sold out. As tradition dictates, we will announce any future releases on our mailing list. Make sure to 'Join Us' at the bottom of the page if you wish to be notified.

The lastest in our series of live broadcasts, #LaddieMP6 featuring three single casks of Octomore, will start tonight, at 7.00pm from the distillery.

It has become traditional for us to release details of the next event, in advance, exclusively to Progressive Hebridean News subscribers.  For #LaddieMP7 head distiller Adam Hannett has selected three single casks of Bruichladdich filled with spirit distilled from Islay-grown barley.

The release will be entirely in sets of three 20cl ‘Wee Laddie’ bottles – at an extremely attractive price point. They have been bottled by our team in the Harvey Hall on Islay.

The #LaddieMP7 whiskies are:

Cask #1694 - distilled in 2004 and matured in American oak, a first fill ex-Bourbon cask.  Barley variety was Optic. 62.2% alc. vol.

Cask #2431 - distilled in 2011 and matured in American oak, a first fill ex-Bourbon cask.  Barley varieties were Concerto, Propino and Publican. 61.5% alc. vol.

Cask #4019 - distilled in 2008 and matured in American oak, a first fill ex-Bourbon cask.  Barley variety was Oxbridge. 63.4% alc. vol.

Improved shipping arrangements mean that even more Laddiefans will have the opportunity to be involved – including friends from the majority of states across the USA, thanks to new American delivery arrangements.

We can also deliver to addresses in the province of Alberta, Canada.

Our photo shows the three bottles - we have labelled them using our own printer. The real labels will be similar but professionally produced.

The Micro-provenance tastings are part of our ongoing exploration of individual cask evolution. Released as single cask bottlings they are available only from bruichladdich.com
