Bruichladdich scoops six awards at Travel Retail Masters Awards 2014

Bruichladdich has scooped six Masters at the prestigious annual Travel Retail Masters awards ceremony, hosted at the opening of The Fable, Drake & Morgan's newest London bar. The judges consisted of Tom Aske, co-founder of Fluid Movement, Sandro Llhys, Assistant Bar Manager at Harvey Nichols OXO Tower, Eugene Bacot, founder of Voice PR and former drinks journalist; Adam McCulloch, Bar Manager of The Cadogan Arms, Tobias Gorn, Director of Chapman and Gorn; and Becky Pasin, Editor of The Spirits Business, who chaired the judging group.

The awards attracted a record number of entries, so we were very happy to see so many Bruichladdich products acknowledged for their quality. The Botanist Gin was awarded a Master in the Gin category; Bruichladdich Octomore 6.2 and Bruichladdich Port Charlotte PC11 were both awarded a Master in the Super-Premium Single Malt Scotch category, which was praised as one of the most exciting of the night. Bere Barley 2006 Silver and The Organic Scottish Barley each won a Master in the Premium Single Malt category; and Bruichladdich's Black Art 4.1 was awarded a Master in the Ultra Premiums category, winning over the judges with its “heavy character.”
