We have received many letters and emails since we started, from folk
showing tremendous heartfelt support for our adventure.
Some provide suggestions, request facts, provide snippets of long lost
information (many of our historic records were destroyed by the previous
owners), others extol the merits of the new bottlings, or simply thanks for
tours of the distillery. Most give unbridled encouragement for our project. All
are welcome.
We are all extremely grateful - and touched - by these communications and the
encouragement they provide.
Some of these communications are such classics to the extent that we have
decided to reproduce the 'Mail of the Month', here in this section. This is not intended to be merely a
gratuitous display of self congratulation, rather a sharing of the
communication that we feel is suitably interesting; whether criticism, praise,
serious or amusing, informative or dull - there are no holds barred - we will
consider all for inclusion.
Anonymity will be preserved, unless the writer's permission is specifically
sought and granted for publication. OK? And there will be a little something for
the winner....

Hi Mark,
in the LaddieBlog on May 6th, you wrote something about "The Krazy
Kraut" Michael Melchinger.
O.K.,not bad, but this "title" definitely belongs to me :-)
Bruichladdich was distillery of the year in 2001,2003 and 2006. So my
two young lad(d)ies were born in 2001,2003 (I've got no more gunpowder
for 2006 ;-) ) Instead I bought my first cask in 2005. Then I celebrate
in 2006 my 10th anniversary of wedding in Zermatt, Switzerland with a
very special Bruichladdich - and my wife. You think this isn't enough,
don't you?
But since last Friday, I've got my new credit -card. Hey, it's not a bad
camera, I try to get a little more "vintage" style of the good old days
for it so it's a monochrome picture.
I think it is something special, unique - like Bruichladdich - and you
have to be sure, everyday I will see Bruichladdich.
By the way, perhaps you put this email into web page Your Say for a new
"Letter of the month", because the last is from January (!).
