Russian Success The new Russian elite have developed a taste for Scotland’s finest export - single malt whisky. It is no surprise that the biggest selling single malts in Russia are the mega brands of Glenfiddich, Macallan and Glenmorangie – in that order. But in fourth place… whose this? Little ‘ol Bruichladich? Yes. It surprised us too.
2006 X4 - PERILOUS WHISKY - February 27th 2006A legendary quadruple distillation - usquebaugh-baul. We are pleased to announce the world’s most alcoholic single malt ever made by reviving the ancient tradition of quadruple distilled single malt. More than 300 years ago the legendary traveller Martin Martin recorded his impressions after encountering a similar whisky on his visit to the Hebrides in 1695.
New Bottling Line A brand new, ‘all singing, all dancing’ bottling has been installed in the Harvey Hall. The existing line was dismantled and repositioned perpendicular to the current position. This new equipment, designed and constructed specifically for Bruichladdich, will give us much greater capacity, flexibility and speed. What a combination: traditional distilling and state-of-the-art bottling.
