French Oak, Red Wine - Bruichladdich

Bruichladdich new fillings (lightly peated) - French Oak Wine Cask - Very fine knit French Oak that gives a complex, refined, "toasted butter" spectrum of flavours to the new spirit - as opposed to the vanilla of American Oak. With regret we can no longer supply cask or futures sales to the USA or Canada (Existing customers are not affected)
Orders are being taken for the 2011 distillation allocation. Please contact the Distillery to order or download the cask order form below and send your completed cheque direct.
Only a limited number of casks are available "en primeur" to the public, allocations are now made on a first come first served basis.
The Bruichladdich Cask Offer is restricted to members of the public only.
1. Purchase your cask type - Currently Fresh Bourbon and Premium French Oak casks are available.
2. An order acknowledgment will be forwarded to you by return.
3. A receipted invoice will be sent to you confirming your order.
4. When the whisky is distilled, a number will be allocated to your cask that is registered with H M Customs and Excise.
5. Once distilled, the Delivery Order specifying the cask number, capacity, strength, type, and warehouse location will be sent to you.
6. A presentational certificate, autographed by Jim McEwan, will be forwarded upon receipt of the signed Delivery Order.
8. You are welcome to visit your cask upon appointment.
Fresh Bourbon Barrel (200 Bulk litres - 140 OLA) - £ 1300.00
Prices quoted are per cask UNDER BOND, excluding Duty & VAT, lying at the Distillery. Insurance and Storage for 10 years are included free of charge in the prices quoted.
Premium French Oak Wine Casks (225 Bulk Litres - 155 OLA) - £1600.00
Very fine knit French Oak that gives a complex, refined, "toasted butter" spectrum of flavours to the new spirit - as opposed to the vanilla of American Oak.
Prices quoted are per cask UNDER BOND, excluding Duty & VAT, lying at the Distillery. Insurance and Storage for 10 years are included free of charge in the prices quoted.
