Today, September 9th, is a big day for Bruichladdich. our new website has launched today and Sunday sees the formal launch of our very first Bruichladdich 10 Year Old –
THE LADDIE TEN.
It’s difficult to convey just what a big deal this is for us. When we bought Bruichladdich 11 years ago – barely scraping the cash together before the lawyers closed the door on us – none of us knew if we were going to last two years let alone 10. Many said we wouldn’t make it and there were times, in those dark, long, lonely Hebridean nights, when we had a few doubts ourselves. but we are still here, and this first fantastic spirit that has been slumbering gently in our Atlantic warehouses all this time is now ready to make it’s debut on what is now a world stage. We are massively proud.
To say a small thanks to those of you who have stuck with us all this time, and particularly those who have followed us online, we are offering a one-off opportunity. On Sunday 11th visitors at the distillery only will have the opportunity to buy one special edition LADDIE TEN with an “I Was There” label. Close of play Sunday, game over. However we are also creating an “I Was There Online!” label in a limited edition of 300 bottles only – these will go to our first 300 purchasers on this new website.
