Cask Offers

Only a limited number of casks are available "en primeur" to the public, allocations are now made on a first come first served basis.

You can specify how long the spirit is aged, thereby influencing the final style and value of the malt. The whisky can be either sold or bottled naturally at your preferred strength thus preserving it's individuality.

The casks are filled with Bruichladdich new spirit, which uses malted barley at a low peat rating of 3ppm of phenols. Occassionaly spirit at a higher peating level is available in limited quantities (see cask types for current availability).

How it Works:

1. Purchase your cask type - Currently Fresh Bourbon (download order form), Premium French Oak (download order form) and a Limited Edition Lochindaal filling (download order form) are available. For more information, or to purchase online, visit the laddieshop.

2. An order acknowledgment will be forwarded to you by return.

3. A receipted invoice will be sent to you confirming your order.

4. When the whisky is distilled, a number will be allocated to your cask that is registered with H M Customs and Excise.

5. Follow the distillation process on our distillery web cams.

6. Once distilled, the Delivery Order specifying the cask number, capacity, strength, type, and warehouse location will be sent to you.

7. A presentational certificate, autographed by Jim McEwan, will be forwarded upon receipt of the signed Delivery Order.

8. You are welcome to visit your cask upon appointment.
