Your Own Cask

You can specify how long the spirit is aged, thereby influencing the final style and value of the malt. The whisky can be either sold or bottled naturally at your preferred strength thus preserving it's individuality.

Your Own Style

The casks are filled with Bruichladdich new spirit, which uses malted barley at a low peat rating of 3ppm of phenols.

Your Own Distillation

Join our whisky academy, learn all there is to know about distilling under the tutelage of Master Distiller Jim McEwan and obtain hands on experience of the distilling process 'as it used to be', in this residential week long course. Help in the distillation of your very own spirit.

How it Works:

1. Go to the Laddieshop and complete the order form and payment.

2. Purchase your cask type - Currently Fresh Bourbon and Rivesalts (Alternatives are offered on occasion).

3. An order acknowledgment will be forwarded to you by return.

4. A receipted invoice will be sent to you confirming your order.

5. When the whisky is distilled, a number will be allocated to your cask that is registered with H M Customs and Excise.

6. Follow the distillation process on our distillery web cams.

7. Once distilled, the Delivery Order specifying the cask number, capacity, strength, type, and warehouse location will be sent to you.

8. A presentational certificate, autographed by Jim McEwan, will be forwarded upon receipt of the signed Delivery Order.

9. You are welcome to visit your cask upon appointment.
